Spectacular waterfall in Chiapas, Mexico. Gemma, Sam and I had spent most of the day at a different set of cascades not too far up the road and by the time we arrived here the place was going to close shortly. We wanted to spend more time here so we decided to stay the night in a little cabañas right next to the waterhole even though we had already paid for accommodation elsewhere.
It was a pleasure travelling with people who are able to make decisions spontaneously and go with the flow of things as they develop :-)
There was a cave next to the main waterfall which had a waterfall inside of it! We cruised in and skinny dipped in close to pitch dark inside the cavern with bats flying around. An awesome and surreal experience!
